Premio Combat Prize

There will always be people with bigger dreams than ours but none of more importance than our own. Where better to dream than while nodding off in your favourite armchair, and so the video starts with images on my armchair of remembrances, in my dreams of times past.
Innocent Times is a short experimental art video exploring the blurry boundaries between memory and self-perception. It begins with me as a child in my mother’s arms and subsequently fades in and out of other times in my life that are reflective of pure innocence rather than naivety.
Bio. I am an artist and author living in Dun laoghaire, Co. Dublin. I have a BA in Visual Arts Practice and an MA Art in the Contemporary World, and I have exhibited at Pallas Contemporary Projects, Royal Ulster Academy of Art, ’Sculpture in Context’ and others.
