Born in Merate, Italy in 1984. Lives and works in Milan and the Düsseldorf Area. Art studio at Kunsthaus in Essen.

When I moved to Germany, in 2010, I started to focus my artistic research on places and the dynamic relationships created between people and these same places. The subjects that I discuss often have a close relationship with my personal experience.The aim of my work is not just the trivial representation of buildings and architectural elements: on the one hand I am interested in enthralling the viewer’s gaze and encouraging them to discover the poetic details. The spectator must stop and take the time to ”read” the drawings and collages so elegantly presented as installations. In addition, during the process of observation, the spectator should become more active and involved, and finally connect with the spatial dimension of the exhibition hall. On the other hand I am also interested in the concept of ”place”, ”non-place”, ”anthropological place” and identity - a theme which I am currently thoroughly focusing on.
