Salute
The inspiration for the painting came from traditional Persian miniatures but re-imagined in my own style.
Biography
Maryam has exhibited internationally, at the Espacio Gallery (London), Centro Hotel (Dubai), Lugano (Switzerland) and the ”Dialogue of Nations” (Iran). In the 2014 American Art Awards Maryam was placed 1st and 2nd in the Expressionism and Cubist categories following on from her 1st and 3rd places in the Art Brut and Naive art categories In the 2013 American Art Awards. In the same year Maryam was a featured artist in Arttour International magazine’s Best of Contemporary Art 2013 and participated in the ”Passion for Freedom” exhibition at the Embassy Tea Gallery in London.
In 2015 Maryam has been shortlisted for the Ashurst Emerging Artist prize in London and for the International Artist Grand Prize at Art Revolution in Taipei.
