Premio Combat Prize

A close friend of mine Emilio Guajardo lent me a script of a theatre play in which he is working as an actor, I found it extremely inspiring so I decided to get involved in the project by creating a serie of pieces inspired in the magical play. I can relate directly to the main character of the story through my paintings. I believe we all fight strong battles with ourselves living in a society which demands a specific behavior. It is difficult to deal with the unconscious and find your specific path. We have go deeper. We have to realize we are human beings traveling through this planet who are made of a physical body, a mind and a spirit we sometimes forget about. Briefly, the play is about a woman who fights the worst battle with herself. The battle about what she really wants and what others want from her takes place in this intense, strong and deep play. Death, judgement, heaven and sky are the four last things the story makes us remember.
