Premio Combat Prize

The photography art knows fine art photography and artistic photography or photographic documentary. My artworks are experimental fine art photography, in german language ”Fotokunst” , and not ”künstlerische Fotografie”. This is the different for me. A developed artistic photography and documentary photography have so much reality in it, as it can be, and the experimental fine art photography has as little as possible. It is virtual reality and not realistic reality. Photographic fine art consciously abandon true to life representations and thus gain more flexibility. But this says nothing about a value of the artworks. It is only another concept. In my photographic art, there is a conscious and proactive involvement of technology in the creative process, not as a tool but as a generative instance.
