Please let me indroduce myself.
My name is Pedro Baos. I’m a professional painter in oils since 1975, when I received the title Master Artist from the hands of then Head of State, Mr Francisco Franco.
For almost 40 years, I’ve work under orders done by my customers, who have chosen the topics they wanted to see reflected in the paintings.
At the beginning of 2013 I decided to give the orders and get to capture on paintings those images, corners and situations that have seduced me, without the desires of any of my clients guide my brushes.
This is how over the past two years I have been designing a considerable number of Works with my personal realistic style, that I believe now is the time to expose my sensitive public Works can acquire.

Pushing the limits
Pedro Baos uses the technique of the old Spanish classical painters when they reflected figures in his paintings with thin layers, one above the other, and getting the bodies were catching some of the great masters own textures.
Mixing paint varnishes, oils, medium ... and development of painting techniques with many slides, the painter gets impregnated his paintings as his own personal atmosphere.
Pedro Baos develops its topics in a variety of windows categorized on any theme, without monothematic. In samples of his art ... ultimately find stairs, patios, streets, beaches, portraits..., any corner in the world that has captivated by its power of attraction; that is why his every picture is different, with its own specific claim different for each viewer.
With his restless sensibility and power of his brush, the artist draws our attention both on the color attractive irons with rust, water stains a wall, the rotten wood ... like the light coming through a window, injuring the darkness of a room or the melancholy beauty of the eyes of a child who sees the world from a window. And when one least expects it, a burst of brightly colored leaves the viewer breathless.
Since Pedro Baos started playing with colors professionally in 1975 and until yesterday, the end of 2013, the works of this author have been traveling a long way. The new line of painter leaves behind his paintings surreal patina of study and locked in the trunk of his canvases fast memories landscapes to enter a search and meditation work to capture the aesthetic beauty as he interprets it, with pictures much more thoughtful and elaborate.
