ART KÖGL artwork contains materials that exhibit a complex structure. The artistic tools used come from different sources, such as recycling, packing material, wire, string and plastic. Each individual part is worked separately, changed and reworked into a new motif with the point of expressing the cities landscape. Relying on the »grid form« of the cities road structure ART KÖGL created her own prints. Using different base materials like silkscreen, linoleum, and wood, along with letterpress printing. Through these mediums we can easily see a type of satellite picture emerging. ART KÖGL’s driving inspirations are the environment, city, nature, and memories of trips and adventures past. Bringing her personal ideas, and memories, along with different experiences past and present, to life on canvases is an absolute necessity. These canvases show the refection and contemplative nature of the artist. This artwork takes positive and negative experiences apart. Letting these experiences express themselves through different mediums
and materials, with the objective to break through any barriers. The work is saturated with a multitude of colours, spontaneous and intense. The style of the work is collage technique and generally abstract.
