Art is a journey that is taken by the heart and mind. This is true for people who are viewing art, as well as the creator, AKA the Artist.
My ‘Art Journey’ begins with the photo reference. Photos can inspire, motivate and bring both memories and emotions. I choose images that evoke a certain emotion and mystery.
On my path of discovery I create a resemblance of the photo I chose. Drawing is my passion and on this ‘Art Journey’ I use my trusty pencil on paper.
While I am traveling I love to explore and learn. Creating an art piece is not just depicting what is seen, but also what is felt. I try to create a unique map to the destination.
Arriving at my destination I discover a pencil drawing, overshadowed by a transparent paper image, created to delight and mystify.
