BIOGRAPHIE
The Austrian artist GABI DOMENIG (born 1963 in Lienz) was attracted to fine arts in an early age. Her love for painting encouraged her to take classes in nude painting, color theory, drawing and composition. Charcoal, red chalk and pastels on paper and primed wood panels were the common tools in the 1990’s.
Following her first exhibition in 1999, where she presented 20 large pastel paintings to the public, she started to paint with acrylics on canvas. The strong and bright colors and the way to work with acrylics go very well with her nature.
