Hasmik Hovhannisyan was born and lives in Yerevan, Armenia. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Fine Arts and Theatrical Institute in Yerevan. She is a member of the Artists Union of the Republic Armenia. Her works have been exhibited in Yerevan, Moscow, Los Angeles, Fresno, Spokane, Leipzig, etc.
The artist paints primarily in the genres of portrait, landscape, and still life. Her world is the artistic reality passed through her personal perception, hence the freedom of colorful performance, dynamism of strokes and rhythm of presentation.
Hasmik Hovhannisyan has three sons.
