KATARINA UREM - BIOGRAPHY
Education and work
Born in Šibenik, Croatia, in 1978. In 2001 graduated from the Arts Academy of the University of Split, Croatia, and got a degree in Conservation and Restoration, Art culture and Fine arts. Since 2003. working at the City Museum of Šibenik as conservator-restorer of paintings and polychrome sculpture.
Painting is my passion for years.

Artistic inspiration
Watching vivid colours of flowers, that perfect simplicity and at the same time fullness of that form touches me inside. It motivates, inspires me to reflect my inner state through colors. Form of the flower gives me plenty of possibilities to create my own colourfull visions. I like to combine contrast and complementary colours to emphasize strength and energy. In that way the form of flower is not a theme but merely a motive that gives so much more.
