Artwork description / Biography
My experience with art began in childhood, studying the art in the many books in our house, and looking long at the art of my ancestors on the walls. Because my mother was a visual artist, I would also witness the creative process early on in her studio. After earning a bachelor degree in fine art from the University of Ottawa in Canada, I realized that I wanted to develop a creative approach of my own which would extend beyond that which I had learned about in school and in life. Because I have usually resided close to nature, I eventually came to observe it more closely once again—and this has recently led to a new course of philosophical and scientific study in relation to art.
