Introspection

Ambiental wholeness, fuguration, spacial tapistry,
The project goes through many phases of research and consists of experimentally surreal constelations, zoomophic, biomorphic and human forms.
As a result of further research, the introspective phase creates unimaginable-imaginary forms of human beings. A new visual dimension to work is given by and uninfinite self-questioning through other living forms, identification with their features and in-depth `self-pludging` through others. I use such an unlimited range of memories in my visual expression in order to create new synaptic connections and a specific surreal memorial wholeness out of them.

Biography
Graduated from the Belgrade University of Arts, Faculty of Applied Arts (Textile department) in 2011. In 2014 Pulai founded the association ‘’Čunak’’, with the aim of reviving textile techniques, manual and machine knitting. The association works in the field of artistic / textile workshops such is weaving, fetl wool, hand and machine knitting. Appointed professors at the School of Design ‘’Bogdan Šuput’’ , Novi Sad, for the course Textile design in 2014, Since 2015. Pulai is a full time Professional Associate at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, the Depatment of Textile.
Member od ETN (European Textile Network ) Titulci, Madrid, 2017.
Member of ULUPUDS(Association of Applied Arts and Designers of Serbia), 2014.
He was employed like associate-designer, organisation »Etno Network«, 2013.
He is mainly working un the field of textile art, design, tapestry, digital illustration, pedagogy.
Prizes and Awards
• Awarded with the ’’Iva Vrinjanin’’ award for the exceptional achievement in textile for the 2011.
• Commendation, award by the jury of ULUPUDS (Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia ) in the field of textiles.
• Won the Grand Prix at the 45th May exhibition for textile wall partition made of termic presses, Belgrade, 2013.

• Commendation, award by the jury of ULUPUDS (Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia ) in 22nd Biennial of Tapestry 2016.

• Awaded with the ’’Nagyapáti Kukac Péter ’’ award for the exceptional achievement in textile for the 2017.
• Commendation, award for work ‘’INTROSPECTION’’, by the jury of the ULUPUDS (Association of Applied Artists and Designers of Serbia) in the field of textiles, Serbia, 2017
• Award at international exhibition for the work ”Introspection”, in the category: contemporary tapestry, the 6th Triennial of Tapestry of ”Atelje 61”, Novi Sad, 2017
