Descrizione Opera / Biografia

The physical world and the image world are both fluid and continue to change.
This series, Light Perception, is an investigation into the possibility of photographic expression in the post-digital era, an issue that I have often found myself wondering: How is the image reaction for the visual photographic abuse?
I decided not to use the camera but start a new visual possibility, starting from a digital white module and using the effects of virtual light spectrum to creat volume and space, something in the relationship between photography and the invisible.
Exploring the field of abstraction, reformulating our understanding of the lights’ effect, cousing a state of transformation that is received and decoded by the viewer.
Fabian Albertini, (born in 1965, Italy), based between Milan and Rio de Janeiro. Studied in Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, Milan, Italy and worked as assistant of masters like Oliviero Toscani, Jean Baptiste Mondino, Francesco Scavullo e Gian Paolo Barbieri.
In 2001, Fabian decided to move to Rio de Janeiro for a creative retreat.
The research of the artist is guided in the creation of a body of images between photography and installations, experimenting new materials in order to explore new visual renderings and expand the concept of perceptions.
