Premio Combat Prize

The series of paintings that are an exploration of colors and materials in search for the best way to represent metamorphosis from natural to artificial and vice versa. Experiment with different materials to turn two-dimensional into three-dimensional work. Primary inspiration is landscape, but as seen through a broken glass, therefore geometrization and stylization of natural flow and movement. Trying to change the look of the piece depending on the lighting and position of the observer by exploring materials, light and shadow, relief, and natural glow of materials.
Ivana Knezevic was born i 1983. She graduated interior design and has been working in the field of painting, installation and art pedagogy. She has exhibited her work in solo and collective exhibitions across Serbia. She lives and works in Cacak.
