Premio Combat Prize

Piotr Skowron was born in 1984 in Lodz (Poland). He graduated at Graphic Art in Academy od Fine Arts in Lodz. Currently he is working as an assistant at home university in Agata Stepien’s Silkscreen Studio. His favorite techniques are graphic art, drawing and painting. He specializes in intaglio and serigraphy. However, he isn’t confined only to traditional forms of print and often exploits unconventional graphic techniques. Experiments with collography are strongly related to his earlier education - engineering. He uses color rarely, mainly exploiting grayness, which are connected with a theme of his arts. He composing works by using basic elements of artistic expression - lines, plane and factures, the aim of it is to show feelings, emotions and everyday cases, by not referring to the figurative solutions.
