Artwork description / Biography
This work was inspired by the French photographer Eugene Atget and the Czech photographer Josef Sudek and brought into a new context. My photos arise spontaneously from encounters in motion. New windows and surreal images are created in shop windows, glass panes, reflecting surfaces. These people, situations and objects get a new visual identity. For me, the lines between reality and fiction blur in these pictures. Who is the subject, who is the object? What are our desires and feelings? Space and time dissolve, a new dimension is created that also stimulates the viewer to think about himself.
