This painting I have made in the ”Artist’s Garden” I have created here in Tuscany. The garden itself is my live sculptural artwork which commenced sixteen years ago. Set in the hills I have wanted to give a sense of it’s position, light and early spring forms. Detail has not been at the forefront of my mind but more wanting to capture the sense of space.
Charlotte Royle is an English artist living between Casablanca and Tuscany. A close and constant connection with trees and plants runs through her work.
She works in the mediums of drawing, painting, paper making and gardening.
Charlotte has had several solo shows and works with galleries in England, Morocco and Italy.
