Biography
Grégoire Wuillaume says iGOR has been practicing and teaching architecture for 30 years. Since 2012 he revisits the living model crossing different techniques. Since 2014 he has exhibited his first artistic works exploring the indescribable inscribed in the human body. In 2019 he created his first major artistic performance inviting 18 artists, bringing together 5 disciplines (dance, contemporary music, speech, video as well as his own photographic compositions), at the Colomban theater in Wavre (Belgium).
Context of the work
These photographic compositions were created (artist iGOR), on the occasion of an exceptional artistic event (of which I am the initiator and the producer) which took place on the stage of the Columban theater in Wavre (Belgium) on the 6th /12/ 2019.
This performance brought together several artists, from different disciplines, around a common thematic, TRANS - FIGURATION. Dance, live music, speech, video and my photographic compositions intertwined during this unique artistic performance. Thematic
TRANS - FIGURATION, change of a figure of the ordinary, by the projection of this one on a naked body shining of a woman. The new figure produced shows another reality.
... and if a burst of light splashed our everyday life, our lives would be transfigured and would give us to see another reality.

”forgetfulness & memory”
This photographic table contrasts
- the figure of oblivion, experienced by separation, death, represented by one of the hundreds of commemorative ballot boxes following the conflicts in comuna13 in Medellin, Colombia (black & white photo)
- on the other hand, the figure of memory, by the presence of a burst of light in the form of a woman holding his head.
The confrontation of these two figures, by projection of one on the other, reveals a new reality, trans-figured ... the one who leaves does not die but the one who forgets.
