ARTWORK DESCRIPTION
Prejudices and stereotypes are linked to the process of forming personal identity and are connected to the social identity that is formed with the socialization processes deriving from the family, school, mass media that produce and reproduce the culture to which the individual belongs.
In various cultures there remains a strong sense of superiority towards other cultures considered backward and far from an appreciable level of civilization, with the persistence of a hostility towards others that manifests itself in the forms of daily life, in the system of social relations, in the fierce defense of the culture of belonging.
In post-industrial and globalized society, racism presents itself as an ideology that is taking on new forms. There is a feeling of danger caused by irregular or illegal behavior attributed to minorities (forms of violence, crime phenomena, illegal activities, prostitution, drug dealing) which are attributed to negative or criminal behavior systematically exploited by political propaganda and fed by the mass media to increase the audience, by transmitting information that negatively affects the formation of public opinion.

I graduated in ”Fashion Design and Visual Arts” at the University of Urbino ”Carlo Bo”.
