I am Ximena Sedano. I was Born in Bogota Colombia where i studied Visual Arts and now i live and work in Bern, Switzerland.
In my Art explore the migration journey. The one we live when we leave our country of origin, what ever the reason we leave and then in time lead us to our internal migration where we find Home. That is represented in worlds that i create with images of Nature that i capture in places where i feel like home. I use 2 or sometimes 3 images and create new Worlds and pictures that are meant to be home in that exact moment of creation . I also work with Gold as a representation of that spiritual and warm energy that comes from my country of origin, Colombia. In Some of my work i use it as the support of the image in others i try to evoke the colour of the sun in the sunset pinks and warm energy created by that beautiful star in Nature sky.
