Ghiacciaio reticolato
Quella delle nostre montagne sarà ben presto una realtà priva di ghiacciai e la causa è insita nell’attività dell’uomo. Con fili cuciti dentro le mie fotografie, guardo indietro di circa 50 anni sui ghiacciai della mia infanzia restituendo al paesaggio un afflato del passato “glacizzato”, or ora scomparso. Con le mie immagini non posso fermare il disfacimento del ghiacciaio, non lo posso revocare, ma ne posso misura la velocità e la portata di cambiamenti irreversibili.
Born in Karthaus, a small mountain village build on and around a former monastery in South Tyrol in 1967. Having grown up in this same place I still live there with my husband, a dog and two cats. I have attended the Prager Fotoschule in Linz, Upper Austria from 2013 to 2017 and completed with my diploma work with the highest marking in 2018. Since then I work as a professional photographer and have participated in group exhibitions in Austria and Italy
