Mind Blown was a traditional digital image that I transformed into a Digital Abstract. Unable to photograph due to the lockdown of the pandemic, I experimented with my images to create a new body of work giving life new life to traditional images.
I am a contemporary fine art photographer. My specialty is land and seascapes. Abstract photography has become the focus of my recent work. From my cache of traditional photographs both recent and previous work, I transform them into abstract images using tools in Photoshop and other editing programs. The results create a completely different and unique image. My transformative work is both interpretive and thought provoking. It’s interesting to compare the original image with the abstract. It’s both challenging and exciting to create this new work.
My traditional images are from digital and 35mm film giving them new life. All of the images exhibited have been altered with this process.
My work has been exhibited in Japan, Barcelona Spain, Berlin Germany New York City and Long Island New York.
