Biografia
 Davide Bonotto nasce a S. Donà nel 1980, si iscrive alle Belle Arti di Venezia nel Corso di
Pittura del Prof. Luigi Viola e si diploma nel 2006. Negli anni di studio realizza perlopiù
installazioni. Espone in diverse collettive con xilografie Pop. In seguito lascia qualsiasi
forma figurativa. Lavora facendo scontrare materiali diversi su grandi tavole. Curioso il
ciclo"Sacche", opere in legno che definisce contenitori universali di diversità. Nel ciclo di
opere "Riserve" lavora riflettendo sull’uso smodato di plastica che lo porta ad immaginare
paesaggi desertificati in cui quel che rimane sono solo specchi aridi. Fin da adolescente
Davide ha partecipato attivamente in fase progettuale e realizzativa a gruppi artistici
all’interno del Movimento del Carnevale della sua città, testando in maniera significativa
l’aspetto popolare e coinvolgente dell’operare insieme a tanti artisti strettamente connessi
con il pubblico. Uno dei progetti a cui è più legato è "Lands"  lavoro attraverso cui il
pubblico stesso poteva intervenire nell’opera modificandola; di nota l’evento “Arte tra mare
e cielo” dove l’installazione era presente sulla battigia del mare di Jesolo. Da “Lands” ha
sviluppato tutte le motivazioni che gli hanno permesso di  creare "Men in fly"
Davide Bonotto was born in San Donà (Venice) in 1980, he enrolled in the Academy of
Fine Arts in Venice in the painting course of Professor Luigi Viola and graduated in 2006.
During the years of study he mostly made installations. Davide exhibits in several group
shows with pop woodcuts. Later he leaves any figurative form. He works crashing different
materials on large tables. Important is "Sacche", a cycle of wood works, that he defines as
universal containers of diversity. 
In the cycle of works "Riserve" Davide reflects on the excessive use of plastic and this
leads him to imagine desert landscapes where what remains are only arid mirrors. Since
he was a teenager, Davide has actively participated in the design and implementation
phase in artistic groups within the Carnival Movement of his city. Here he tested the
popular and enganging aspect of working together with many artists closely connected
with the public. One of his favorite projects is "Lands",work in which the public himself
could intervene in the work by modifying it; to note the event “Arte tra Mare e Cielo” where
this was collocated on the shoreline of the Jesolo’s beach. From “Lands” he 
developed all the motivations  to create "Men in fly"

"Men in fly" nasce dopo il progetto "lands" nel quale Davide poneva la sua riflessione sulla
necessità del dialogo tra "terre".   
Ecco che usando materiali come la terra e ragionando sul rapporto intrinseco tra  la
lavorazione della stessa e lsanitized_by_modx& #39uomo la sua attenzione andava sui cantieri stradali, in maniera
particolare sui triangoli gialli con omino (men at work o lavori in corso). Tutta la sua analisi
confluiva nella necessità di creare una nuova dimensione nella quale quellsanitized_by_modx& #39 omino, ormai
immagine iconografica che vediamo quasi tutti i giorni nelle strade che percorriamo, si
elevasse letteralmente a nuova natura. Il fatto che in questi cartelli  la grafica lo ritraesse
sempre piegato e sottolinea collegato ad un mucchio di terra non gli andava; da lì
ha affinato delle tecniche nelle quali andava a modificare questa grafica creandone
unsanitized_by_modx& #39altra. In questo da importanza al gesto, un modo semplice per misurare  se stesso in un
mondo che consideriamo sempre posizionato sotto ai nostri piedi, ecco che alleggerire la
nostra importanza ci potrebbe sollevare da terra.
"Men in fly" was born after "Lands" project where Davide focused his attention on the need
for dialogue between "lands". Here, using materials such as earth and thinking about
intrinsic relationship between the working of the land and man, his attention went to road
construction, especially the yellow triangles with the men at work. All his analysis
converged on the need to create a new demension  where that man, now an iconographic
image that we see everyday in the streets, would rise to another nature. He didnsanitized_by_modx& #39t like the
fact that these signes portrayed them folded and attached to a pile of earth; from here
Davide created a technique where he went to modify this graphic. He gives importance to
the gesture, a simple way to measure himself in a world that we always consider placed
under our feet.
Here, lightening our importance could lift us off the ground.
