This work was started in the fall of 2021 and completed in the summer of 2022 I would like to accompany this painting with a text that was written by me in collaboration with Nastya Shakunova for the group exhibition Ash, held in Minsk in the summer of 2022, where we were curators and participants.
We hear a complex, humming premonition of a hopeless future, the old world has failed, and the new has not arrived. The former believer does not believe in salvation, beauty, love. Is there anything under the rubble besides ourselves.
