Pshtjellaku is part of the national clothing of Albanian women. It consists of two parts: the longer part (in my case 43cm X 28cm) which is placed in front and the smaller part (28cm x 28.5cm) in the back. In them I wrote the signage and the first letters of the alphabet. For concepts, I am quoting an article from the Ora newspaper in 1929, which states:
”It is too much to emphasize here the importance that female education has for society... It is enough to note that Albanian women are remaining in the dark and this shortcoming will be filled as soon as possible, that without having girls educated, we cannot wait neither civilized women, as good mothers, as well-grown sons”.
Erza Kryeziu is an emerging kosovar artist born near Suhareka on July 11, 1998, where has finished primary and secondary graduation. In 2016 she moved to Prishtina to start the artistic studies. In 2021 she graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina, in the Visual Arts program with specialization in Conceptual Art and New Media. After graduation, she moved to Treviso, Italy where currently works and operates. Her work is based on important issues and themes, mainly social but also political and cultural. She has worked in many media, mainly in new ones. She has participated in many exhibitions, among which are: collective exhibition ‘’Neverland’’ Spazio San Vidal, Venice (ITA) 2024, ”Independence Day XII” Ferizaj (KS) 2020, ”Deconstruction” National Museum of Kosovo 2019, performance ”Colorless” Prishtina (KS) 2018, ”Daffodil” Suhareka (KS) 2018 and many others. In 2020 she won the ”Special Award” at the International Photography Competition ‘’Prefoto’’ in Presevo (SRB).
