This paining shows men and women in movement. They are walking, running around in all directions. Some are training, lying down or sleeping, some sitting next to each other talking or fighting, others are bumping into eachother in haste. These figures symbolize the movements of the human being of today which is trying to achieve his or her goal in life. Life, being scattered in moments of rushing around! The colours symbolize air,water,earth and fire, the different temperaments of people. I want to show that we are living in a world full of haste, busy and always moving. I wish to inspire the beholder, to stand still and ask themsteves, ”are we getting happy from all of this”.
