I started with my silkcanvas scattered with shiny threads and in my imagination saw birds flying around. Then I started painting and crazy, colourful and alien birds came popping up on my canvas. I created them with small shiny, sparkling round areas of colour. They spread all over myj canvas. It started with a swan, then a dancing bird, a butterfly- and seahorse bird. Also a candy bird, a magic ball- and a ghost bird apeared. A young girl saw these amazing birds and wonderd what they were. She turned to her mother to ask for anwers. The mother told her lovingly that the birds came flying from another world, a fantasy world where everything is beautiful, colourful and hopeful. She is telling her daughter to continue to cherish that world, a world ful lof imagination, hope and love that all children still have but often forgotten when getting older.
