Descrizione Opera / Biografia

In most of my paintings, I explore spaces that shift and intertwine, creating a sense of movement between rooms and fragments that evoke both a feeling of home and a sense of dislocation. These works are reflections of my Shadow House—a place built from the traces of spaces I’ve inhabited and lost, a place that lives inside me, constantly shifting and fragmenting.
The Shadow House is not a physical structure but a collection of moments and memories suspended in time. In my paintings, I seek to capture these intangible spaces—rooms that flicker between past and present, moments that are always changing, always in flux. They are not meant to be reconstructed, but rather to serve as an emotional map of the self, a map that reflects both the fragility and eternity of our personal histories.
Through these works, I invite the viewer to step into my Shadow House, where time doesn’t flow in a linear way, and where every room, object, and fleeting sensation lingers in the quietest corners of the mind. In this way, my paintings become a place where memories and moments intersect, inviting reflection and evoking the complex layers of identity and experience.
