Also this work of art is made during the research period. In my work I strive to portray a nature experience. While making prints, i’m not looking for perfection. in fact, my credo is: when things go wrong, they go right. Like in nature, where there is also no striving to perfection. Things are the way they are. That’s how I want to approach my work.
The theme in this print is also the proliferation and overgrowth of plants. In this case i used hop plants. To me it is very interesting that hop is overgrowing the blackberry plants. When does it stop growing?
The titel refers to the date of picking te plants, the season, the things that happen in the news and the day of making.
