CASUAL INTERVENTIONS
The human being unconsciously acting on surfaces, overriding or overloading the visible to saturation, transforming them sometimes to the point of the imperceptible, leaks or meaningless.
The images in this series -Maps photographic mode sections of a process- are created as represented graphically, such ”collective unconscious creations” on sidewalks, streets and pavements.
These visual content is a fragment of the visible / invisible, anonymous product of those actions, and among other things, the result of what we call Chaos.
José Ney
José Ney Milá Espinosa.
Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1959.
He lived in Spain, 1996 to 2010.
Currently resides in the United State of North America.
His work is included in collections such as the Museum of fine arts in Santo Domingo. Dominican Republic. Palmer Museum of Art Pennsylvania ; Museum of Fine Art Houston ; Lehigh University Art Galleries/Museum Operation ; Southeast Museum of Photography Florida; Cuban American Phototheque foundation, Miami, USA. Museo del Humor and Fototeca de Cuba. Toscano photo archive, Italia. Photo library of the INAH, Pachuca, Mexico and University of Santa Maria de la Rábida, Huelva, Spain, among other.
