CURRICULUM
Graduated in law, he has received national and international awards, including the Premio Arte Mondadori 1998 (finalist), Arte Award 2000 (finalist), winning the Premio Celeste 2008 (online voting), the Celeste Prize 2011 (finalist) and Premio Terna.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Viadarte 2002, Chiostro di S’Agostino-Pietrasanta, Fabbrica Borroni Milan 2008, the Invisible Dog Art Center Brooklyn NY 2011, Garage Bonci “Face to Face” 2013 Pietrasanta.

STATEMENT
The paintings are fragments of a narrative, artificial arrangements in which, through the combination of heterogeneous and sometimes conflicting elements, significant new interactions are created. From the passion for vintage photos, especially the colors and the atmospheres of the fifties, the interior of motels, result visual cues into which merge and overlap, in a non-intended progression, unusual perceptual paths, singular atmospheres imbued with a surreal feeling. In recent works the artist’s attention focuses on the exploration of changing relationship between representation and abstraction. The outlined forms, the accentuated colors, move to a three-dimensional almost sculptural space, like pieces of a reality disassembled and reassembled according to undefined logics.
