The photographer Birgit Moser creates her works out the depth and energy of colors, she abstracts material form. She points to all facets of nature, its beauty, its expression of sensuality und joy of living. In contrast, she shows the shadow side of our material world, where mystic expression rises out of darkness.
Birgit Moser lives and works in Germany. She travelled in diverse countries, from North America to Mexico and Europe, always searching for deep, visual impression. She lived in Korea for 2 years, crossed Asia, focusing on Korea, Nepal, Japan, China, Vietnam and Mongolia. One can feel the Asian Zen philosophy also in her European works, a clear visual expression, the reduced aesthetics. Each piece offers a point of tranquility in nature, a place of peace and silence – which can then become again the starting point to throw oneself into live and its special moments turned into artistic expression.
