Premio Combat Prize

The submitted art work has its title from a documentary film about Aleppo and the civil war in Syria. Images from this war, and other references to modern imperialist conflicts are used to demonstrate the inhumanity of war and highlight the trauma of the militarization of civilian life.
Bio
Born in Buckinghamshire 1963
Trained at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and Bath Academy of Art. Worked as assistant to Pierre Vivant at Tout Quarries sculpture park, Portland Dorset, for both of the summer events in the early 1980’s. Also assisted Pierre Vivant at Bracknell arts centre performance art festival at same time.
