Premio Combat Prize

In this work i represent our society, the chaos where we live. The canvas represents this reality : life-death, body transformation, youth-old age, hope-suspense . This message is suggested by the colors where a sky of hope is flanked by a land of fire and darkness. Silvia Paci was born in Prato, Italy in 1990. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where she earned a degree in painting. Her favorite subjects are human beings with their faces and bodies. In this sense, the predominant image she portrays is surgery through which the body is treated as an object and the individuality of the person is even less. She is also inspired by deformed bodies, not perfect and undamaged, but subject constantly changing and unique in their particularity. Silvia took part in the ”Prima Pagina Art Prize”(2015), organized by the newspaper Il Resto deal Carlino, Bologna. Moreover , she has been part of TU35 project at Officina Giovani(2015) sponsored by Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato. Some of her works have been shown at ”Black Canvas” exhibition at Fellini Gallery, Berlin. She has a current exhibition , Focus, in Fellini Gallery, Berlin.
