Thoughts, moods, feelings, moments.
In some moments they are sometimes experienced by us very intensively – sometimes so easy.
They pass by imperceptibly. A new moment begins.
Past is taken over by now.
We are in search and to some extent demanding – concerning our lives.
Our thoughts concentrate on the will and the desire of wanting.
Thus we often overlook the moments that constitute our lives –
those are filled with craving.
I try to hold these moments, full of craving, in my paintings.
My paintings deal with craving and addiction – standstill and change, letting go and holding on.
I am particulary interested in people and moments that are somehow in between – between today and yesterday – between yes and no.
