This painting is about bees. Bees are a precious gift and they are dying. I often think about the world and they way it seems to be headed. It is frustrating to feel helpess and not to know what more you can do, to change things. So, to deal with these thoughts and emotions, I paint. So here you have the queen of all bees. It is a beautiful, yet melancholic piece, that stops the viewer and maybe brings him to ponder and think. To take a step back and mybe re evaluate choices they make.
