Marla Elena Morante. January 23, 1990. South American artist with extensive experience in a range of photographic genres and media. Active on the web, she attends the Italian Institute of Photography, specializing in conceptual photography. Her current work, articulated in series that combine gritty realism and dreamlike surrealism, features the artist herself as the main subject, exploring the boundaries between love and death, tenderness and cruelty, beauty and horror. She lives and works in Milan.
