Descrizione Opera / Biografia

The composition is dominated by vertical, monumental forms reminiscent of architectural fragments, rock formations, or inner structures of human states.
Graphic, linear elements—evoking grids or trajectories—are significant to me in this painting. They may be interpreted as a schema of choices, directions, or boundaries that both guide and constrain at the same time. These lines seem to trace an invisible inner map.
“Choice” emerged from the silence between collapse and ascent—from that moment when a person becomes aware of their inner direction. The mountain, resembling a fortress, becomes here not only a form but also a state—a sign of resilience, awareness, and inner grounding. The flowing brushstrokes across its surface bear witness to time, which both erodes and tempers, leaving behind only what is essential.
The light penetrating the network of structures opens the possibility to choose—between fear and courage, between falling and growth. In this painting, choice is not a moment; it is a continuous state in which inner freedom is born.
