Descrizione Opera / Biografia

Pressure of Presence explores the psychological tension between visibility and dissolution. Suspended behind a translucent surface that evokes both water and glass, the figure appears caught in an unstable state between emergence and disappearance.
The painting reflects the experience of existing under continuous sensory and emotional pressure, where the body no longer functions as a stable boundary but as a permeable surface absorbing its environment. The face seems partially formed and partially eroded, oscillating between intimacy and distortion, contact and isolation.
Dripping layers, fragmented textures, and blurred transitions transform the portrait into a space of unstable perception rather than fixed identity. The work does not depict a narrative moment, but a nervous state — the fragile attempt to remain present while gradually dissolving under the intensity of perception itself.
