Descrizione Opera / Biografia
In my practice , painting begins with the preparation of the surface itself, establishing a physical and experiential relationship with the work from the very beginning.
I work with diluted layers of oil paint and hagiographic pigments, allowing forms and symbols to gradually emerge through translucent surfaces. Rather than imposing a predetermined image, I attempt to recognize what the painting itself suggests should be revealed.
My works do not function narratively but approach a poetic and symbolic condition where images appear as traces of memory and psyche, suspended between the conscious and unconscious.
My current practice gradually shifts from personal genealogy toward the broader exploration of archetypes and recurring symbolic structures within human experience.
