Il soggetto della mia ricerca è il Vuoto che cerco di rappresentare attraverso la metafora dello Spazio.
Il vuoto a cui faccio riferimento è un luogo a-materico e intimo dove trovare silenzio, equilibrio e armonia, quindi non mancanza o assenza ma capacità di contenere e accogliere. E’ fondamentalmente un antidoto al troppo pieno che vivo quotidianamente. Seleziono contesti architettonici che ritengo utili per creare la mia idea di spazio attraverso un linguaggio che ho formalizzato nel corso degli ultimi anni, linguaggio a cui ho aggiunto un ulteriore elemento: l’inversione cromatica. E’ un elemento che non stravolge l’immagine però aggiunge un effetto disorientante, conservando la coerenza formale del dittico (o della composizione). Questo elemento quindi mi permette di sentire non solo l’allontanamento dalla realtà (aspetto che cerco attraverso il mio linguaggio) ma percepire anche un concreto distacco dalla materia, pur conservando il mio linguaggio formale. Questo distacco ritengo possa agevolare il contatto più intimo con il mio lavoro.
“Please, could you stop the noise?” non è solo il titolo della fase attuale della mia ricerca, è anche la mia necessità di silenzio, antitesi al rumore spesso generato da un caos che cerco di contrastare con l’essenzialità del pensiero (visualizzato in forma di Spazio).
Osservo il Vuoto ma lo rappresento attraverso Spazi che cerco di rendere “sufficientemente pieni” per non sentire nessuna mancanza.

The subject of my research is the Emptiness, which I try to represent through the metaphor of Space.
The emptiness to which I refer is an immaterial and intimate place where one can find silence, balance and harmony; it is therefore not a lack or absence, but a capacity to contain and accommodate. It is fundamentally an antidote to the excessive fullness I experience on everyday. I select architectural contexts that I consider useful for creating my idea of space through a language I have formalised over the last few years, a language to which I have added a further element: chromatic inversion. It is an element that does not distort the image but adds a disorienting effect, whilst preserving the formal coherence of the diptych (or composition). This element therefore allows me not only to feel a distancing from reality (an aspect I pursue through my language) but also to perceive a concrete detachment from the material, whilst retaining my formal language. I believe this detachment can facilitate a more intimate connection with my work.
“Please, could you stop the noise?” is not only the title of the current phase of my research; it is also my need for silence, the antithesis of the noise often generated by a chaos that I seek to counter with the essentiality of thought (visualised in the form of Space).
I observe the Emptiness but represent it through Spaces that I try to make “sufficiently full” so as not to feel any lack.
