Artwork description / Biography

The work consists twelve studies for portraits of dictators, war criminals and those who want to become one. They are made of hand-dug, hand-processed and unbaked clay, which makes the work low-energy and as such meets modern ecological standards. A favorable ecological footprint makes it environmentally sustainable, and I believe it is time for art to move in that direction. I believe that the theme of the work, which connects two times and draws parallels, is closely related to ecology, because without democracy there is no ecology.
