DESCRIZIONE: Installazione site-specific realizzata in gres e metallo, concepita come un frammento di paesaggio marino privo d’acqua. Forme spinose, nere e opache appaiono al tempo stesso fragili e minacciose. L’opera evoca una condizione sospesa tra abbandono e resistenza, suggerendo una forza organica latente, pronta a generare nuove configurazioni. Un ambiente che invita a riflettere sulla trasformazione, sulla vulnerabilità e sulla persistenza della materia.
BIOGRAFIA: In 1999, earned a degree in Sculpture and Philosophy from the University and Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, under the mentorship of Prof. Gregorz Kowalski, within a post-conceptual and non-figurative artistic environment. Relocated to Faenza, Italy, in 1999 for family reasons. In Faenza, she adop- ted ceramic materials, developing a unique technique distinct from the classical local production.Monika Grycko’s installations seamlessly blend the visual allure of pop culture with the tactile, handmade quality of non-industrial craftsman- ship. This fusion creates works that are not only strikingly engaging but also convey an immediate and instinctive expressiveness.
