Descrizione Opera / Biografia

Adaptation Protocols is an installation composed of three black and white photographic images connected through real digital cables to a tangled nest-like structure placed on the floor.
The images suggest hybrid states between biology and technology: roots transformed into electronic extensions, a USB device emerging from a cracked eggshell, and an organic form sutured by cables.
At the center of the cable structure, a dim pulsating LED light functions as a minimal electronic heartbeat.
The installation reflects on adaptation, technological dependency, fragility and the unstable relationship between organic existence and artificial systems.
