This painting is inspired by the painting ”Holiday”, later also known as The Picnic by French painter James Tissot. I wanted to express the summer ambiance of friends gathering around a pic-nic during holiday.
The importance of spending time with people we love. Coffee time, tea time. The peace of nature.
There is also a sensation of a timeless moment.
